Flightwise Flight Tracker Free is an ad-supported utility for tracking commercial or general aviation flights anywhere within United States airspace (only flights in US and Canadian airspace, including Alaska, Hawaii, parts of the Caribbean, and other US territories are supported at this time).

Users can enter an aircraft tail number or an FAA flight ID, and a tracking map of the aircraft and its current position appears. To find flights out of a specific airport, users can enter a valid 3 or 4 letter FAA airport identifier, and a listing of arrivals and departures in and out of that particular airport will appear. Users can select individual flights to track from the listing.

Flightwise Flight Tracker Free app good for

No nonsense app that provides quick response info. I was picking up a friend at Atlanta and wanted to track their flight. This app showed an active flight path as well as any storms that were in the way. Very useful to have for travel, essential for travel when the weather is acting up.

Very nice. Works great. I wish it didnt have the 5 minute lag though. I know the law requires it but Ive seen similar apps that are real time.

It has some proble recognizing some of the major airlines. Rest it is excelent Regards Gustavo

Some bad moments

App isnt worth downloading. Developer is unresponsive. Use flight aware or fltplan instead.

What a piece of junk app. Does not work at all. Punch in Southwest for an airline and comes up invalid airline. Not worth the bother.

Dont waste time downloading. After I downloaded it errors out saying unable to connect or update software.

It took me 1 minute to delete this app... it doesnt recognize any airline, flight number or airport. Useless! Use flight aware instead.

This app wont let me enter a flight number in the "Flight Number" entry box. Is it me???? I dont think so because every other app will allow a number in a number field. Wheres the QA on this. Total waste of download bandwidth and my time and concern. Another 1 star when should be a zero.

This is a terrible app. I would be able to track flights more successfully by standing outside and looking up.
